All of the old days
All of the old days
Huhu..it has been such a while since i last updated the blog. Nothing much happened, so i decided to wait until today. Although i'm miles away from place i called home, it never stopped me from getting the latest info/gossips about my country. I've always been the AF fan (some people might still remember how fond i was to Adam AF2 and Vince of AF1). This year, my whole support goes to MAWI. yeah,u heard me right. I've been downloading his every single performances (and some of the others). None of the performances really caught my attention until last week group performance( a Hindi song from the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai). The song reminds me of my high school days. Believe it or not, my friends and i used the song as part of our musical show.
It all started when we were going to have a performance night during the Police Cadet Jamboree. We were tired of thinking what to do and suddenly one of our friends came up with the idea of drama+ some dance in a show. So, after watching a lot of hindi movies, we agreed to dance according to the song (i forgot the title, but it was the one that the AF3 students performed last week). At first, it was hard to get everybody dance accordingly. Plus, some of us had to replace the males part since there were no males in our team. My school is co-ed but the Police Cadet team is divided into males and females. We often merge for some purposes but when it comes to jamboree, we usually split up. Although there were lots of tense and hard works, we ended up great and we received the biggest applaud during the performance night. Although we lost to our own guys, who performed the best dikir barat ever, we were really proud of what we did. At least, we had proven something and we were also the overall winner for the jamboree. Our guys lost to us for the shooting competition ( we had the sharpest shooter ever..hehe), cooking competition, etc that i couldn't recall. For the other teams, they were not much of a challenge to my school which usually wins the overall title every single year. And those from other schools were really pissed off with my school, but hey, who works the hardest get the biggest reward right? I'm not saying that they didn't work that hard, but we really worked/prepared for any jamboree and competitions until most of us, esp me got warnings from teachers for not attending classes(busy with preparations during class time, until my face got really burned).
I usually got the most warnings since i was the only one in the class who joined the team. And when i was the only one, it became really obvious when it came to exam results. Everybody got almost perfect scores while i only managed to score averagely. It is good that my parents started to restrict my out-of-school activites when i was in form 5. Actually they did that before, but they became more strict after my average performance during my 'honeymoon year'(form 4).
Ok, enough of flashbacks. As of now, i'm almost done with my summer class, which i've been waiting for so long. The class, the lecturer are great but one thing that turned me down is my teammates. Some of them are such a pain in the ass. Sometimes, i feel regret for dropping this class during summer 1. My ex teammates, although not fluent as the current ones, are so much nicer and hardworking. My current teammates are just good at talking about their love lives, clubbing, drinking, and bitching about my lecturer behind his back. What pissed me off even more is some of them are expecting to get good grades while not even listening to a thing in class. Dude, come on, if u are such a lazy ass, don't expect to get A+ in this class. Also, don't bitching about the lecturer not doing his job while you are talking with your friends in class and not even doing your part in the homework assignment.Oh God, i can't wait to end this class! Hopefully my future I-Coremate will be a lot more nicer.
Got to Go. Need to do some revision for next exam.Wish me luck.
Peace, out.
P/s- happy birthday to my buddy, farah. happy 21st bday, u're a grown up woman now. may Allah bless you always!!
